The dell one is only £70 more and the median one probably doesn't come with free deliivery. The dell one is a 2.66mhz celeron. with 256mb of ram and a 40gb harddrive., What's more it's brand new.

Just sign up to rpoints to view the thread about it. I'm sorry I'd just rather you bought it through rpoints as you'll get 1.5% cashback. Are there any other cashback sites offering better cashback from dell?

It's not spam at all as I posted the direct link, to the rpoints site where I made a comment on it, not a topic. This time I didn't post the link that doesn't give rpoints any credit because it requires a long explanation and I didn't have the time to made a long drawn out post. I'm probably the most anti referral profit person there is, so it's very rare for me to make the mistake of not posting the direct link. I'm hoping to create something which will hopefully change the face of retail by taking these profits away from these cashback sites and into the hands of the consumer.

I do believe that people should be rewarded for putting the effort into giving someone the information they require but this doesn't mean I expect anything for providing people with the info. The direct rpoints link is above (I get nothing) and the direct normal link is below (again I get nothing but most importantly, rpoints gets nothing too)

Unfortunately it also means the person buying it has to pay more. Somehow I think your zero-tolerance policy on referrals is seriously flawed against money saving.

Anyway here is the information that I left out of the post above.

    go to http://www.dell.co.uk

There was a Brand New Dell Laptop yesterday for £441 inc P&P!

I bought the Cheapest medion though as it I've been looking ages for a half decent laptop (with warranty) but without spending too much, even the Cheap £440 Dell one would be overkill for what I need it for.

Like most people though I wouldn't have bothered with the £400+ Laptops as they are expensive to say they are grade B Refurbished, In that Instance I'd rather spend £40-£100 more an get a Brand new Better speced machine.

I cant understand why this post from Atherlon was moved. The only referral link is in an individual post. Surely this is a legitimate "Grabbit" item. Could not the individual post with the referral have been edited?

  • Likewise humph. What a way to treat a newbie, poor Atherlon.

yep it was me that moved it here as i had had a lot of complaints, but after all the referral links have been taken out, tony is now gonna be moving it back.

I hold my hands up to this one, should have read the whole thread, and not just the complaint bits.

    SOrry to the OP :)

Hopefully this thread should now be free from referral links & back in the Quick Grabbit While You Can board. My appologies for the delay, it was my first time at helping as a Board Guide!! phewyyy :D
