Well I think I ahve decided on either a Henry or a Hetty.
It needs to cope with tiled, wooden & carpeted floors and a cat & dog that leaves a trail of Hair behind them. so must have a good suction
Any recommendations??

They are both exactly the same just different colours!

They are the same.
I have had one for donkeys years.
Brilliant machines and good old workhorses that last just forever.
Shop aroung though, they vary in prices.
See the difference in prices between Currys and Dixons on line,
I was looking for a freezer and the same one in Currys (199£) and Dixons (154£) a big difference specially since they are part of the same group.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
We bought a henry a few years ago and it get used twice a day to clean our black labs hairs from the carpet, we had a good deal from cleanstore.0

Every cleaner I've had has a Henry (now also with the option of Hetty). The fact that it's the cleaner's cleaner says it all. I've got them in my letting properties too and they're bomb proof - even the students can't kill them.
My son's first word was "Henry". that's how popular they are in our house!0 -
Ive got Henry, strange thing is my "Power Usage" meter ive just got shows it uses the same amount of power on "Low" as on high?0

Hi
I am cleaner and though I do agree the Henry (don't know the Hetty) are very good, in my humble opinion they are pipped at the post by the Miele.
You can get a lower end price range of Miele off the net, if you shop around for around £100-120 - they are superb.
The other thing is that Henry is awkward for doing stairs due to his rotund figure, but the Miele sits nicely on each step.
Henrys do seem to last for donkeys' years so that is a great plus. Make sure you get the tools if you do get one.
