Getting Married In 10 Weeks Help!!!!

I'm getting married in 10 weeks, we only set the datend a few days ago and have a limited budget.
My head is spinning at the moment, so far I've booked the register office and made appointments for giving notice, booked the reception, honeymoon and photographer.
I'm making my dress, my partners outfit - we're thinking kind of French Regency(ish) style, the two ushers (our sons) doing the cake, flowers, invites, favours and I can't think what else!!!!!
I'm posting really to try and keep track of what I'm supposed to be doing!!!!
I've got the car to book but have to wait until I get paid tomorrow to do that.
Going to the rag market on Saturday to try and find the rest of the fabric for my dress which is gold and deep red, it's the red I'm having problems getting!
I'll go to the flower warehouse during the week as we are having silk so at least I can get them done and put them away until they are needed.
We are having a sponge cake two layers, I was thinking of making it and freezing it until I need to ice it - will this be ok?
If anyone can think of anything I might have missed I'd appreciate any ideas.
Thanks x

Congratulations!
You need witnesses to sign the register with you, I'm not sure if there is a minimum age or how old your sons are.
Entertainment or food for the reception? and any music or readings for the service0 -
Thank you everyone, the rings we are sorting out tomorrow, we're not having any bridesmaids, our sons are both pages sadly not old enough to be our witnesses but my best friend is mine and my partners best mate his witness so we're ok there.
Invitations we are doing this weekend too and arranging the entertainment for the venue.
The cake now I know it will be ok to freeze will be baked this weekend as soon as there is space in the freezer for it, ha ha.
I feel like I'm in a whirlwind!!!!0 -
