Im trying to move all my work emails which are stored in Microsoft Outlook on a memory pen. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this (simplest terms possible please).
Thanks in advance

Click on your inbox
Click File\Import and Export...
Select Export to a File and click Next
Select Personal Folder File (.pst) and follow the process.
This will export your mailfile as a .pst file which you can then copy to a memory stick/external hard drive.0 -
You can export them to a pst file, what email client will you be using if you need to import them?

how do i now go about importing the files onto my home computer? any idea?
thanks in advance.0 -
You can 'Drag & Drop' individual emails from Outlook onto pen drive, they will be saved as .msg files. On your home computer if you have Outlook installed when you double click on emails they should open in Outlook or you might be able to 'Drag & Drop' them into Outlook, I haven't tried that.
If you don't have Outlook on your home computer there are a number of software products that will convert from .msg to text, PDF, Word etc. unfortunately these are usually paid for - Google 'convert msg' - without the quotes.
If you don't know what 'Drag & Drop' is see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drag-and-drop0 -
Drag and drop is good.
Remember to encrpyt the pendrive (Truecrypt is good and free) if the data is sensitive work stuff
Also if you want work emails for home use, then set up a rule in outlook at work to forward all emails to you home email, or set the rule up with certain criteria so that you only get specific ones forwarded0
