Beeswax candle making?

Probably not very MS because beeswax candles are so expensive and burn so fast, but I just love the delicate smell they give off!
I wanted to give it a go at making them, in all different colours looks much easier than regular candle making which I've done. The only thing is, the coloured sheets seem pretty expensive in comparison to the plain sheets, which I have seen pretty cheap on Ebay. Is there any way to dye the plain beeswax sheets at home? Or any tips on getting them cheaper. Thanks in advance!

I've never made candles with 100% beeswax only 50/50 but I coloured them by adding children's wax crayons to the mixture.0

It was actually the sheets for rolling them I was thinking about. I don't think there's any way it could be done, but I just thought I'd check. I might make some moulded beeswax ones too though
