Yes but for some people who are working, their time is more valuable. I can spend 10 mins deliberating over how to save 50p, or 10 mins working where I earn more money (well, just about!!!).

The one that amuses me (don't know if it's still the same but it certainly was a couple of months ago) is the Basics Cornish Pasties. Individually wrapped they are 31p each, but a pack of 3 is 99p.

Also we recently bought a 1L carton of fruit juice for 87p, and the carton was printed "Any 3 for £4". I assume that one was a printer's error that no-one had noticed!

That's probably an old offer than made sense when the price was higher and they haven't chnaged the packaging. If it was a long life carton they could have considerable stock in the warehouses to get rid of before they get to the new design.
