I bought this from Dixons in April for £50

The picture quality outdoors is amazing, inside is so so (considering it's hd)
But seeing as you get a hdmi cable, composite cable, rechargeable batteries and a charger I think it's good value

I just had my Flip Ultra HD, that cost £70, delivered an hour ago.

    FML.

    FML indeed.

Does it have built in memory, or does it take cards?
Comes with more accessories too :(

edit: I was worried that this had more memory than the Flip, but it's 128MB, not GB, built in + any memory card you want to add. So it seems like a fairly priced deal.

I've had loads from Pixmania and never had a single problem. Cashback always tracked perfectly and everything arrived really quickly.

I read all the horror stories too but they seem to have bucked their ideas up dramatically over the last 18 months, if my experiences are anything to go by.

DGI_N. I had my Flip delivered a couple of hours ago as well.

Yes, the Kodak does come with more accessories, but no memory. It uses SD/SDHC cards.

I was a bit peeved at first, having spent more on the Flip, but on doing a long Google search of peoples comments, (lots good, lots bad, as with the Flip) I'm glad I got the Flip, as quite a few people who have had both say it is much better. (I hope)

    Have fun.
  • For anyone unsure about pixmania, the same camera has been <£50 on Amazon for a couple of months now. Ours has been used mainly in nautical settings, and DD's was used backpacking through Egypt- no problems so far, we're very happy :)
