Yes, also something like Head and Shoulders would do it too, anything that is designed for deep cleansing. My HD once told me that fairy liquid is fine for your hair to either strip colour or clarify as long as you don't do it too often- and it is important to do a deep condition afterwards -when I clarify I do 2 DT's for 2 subsequent days to help get my hair back into condition.0
