We moved into about new house in January and the previous owners had obviously not really used the utility room sink for anything other than washing paint brushes it is covered in dried splashes of white paint.
I have managed to get the big bits off with pure elbow grease and a scraper, but the smaller bits and smears are not shifting. I've tried Bar Keepers friends and all the cleaning products in my cupboard, anyone got any ideas for OS solutions?

Not really OS at all, but have you tried turps or WD40?
