went to boots oadby leicestershire today I got some boots expert shampoo and body wash 50p each BOGOF!!

also lots of their jar baby food are 15-25p and many of them have 2011 and 2012 dates on them so I brought some with nov 2011 plus expiry dates on them just got 7 different ones dont really plan on using jars but handy to have as back up at that price cost me £1.09 for them were cow and gate and hipp organic. Also got box organic baby rice expiry june 2011 for 42p!!! - Having baby 26th aug by c-section so will be weaning end of feb 2011 so made sense to get these bits cheap.

they also had some teats for 50p pack but nothing else but really is a small boots and not much baby stuff

checked wigston leicestershire yesterday and only got some pregnacare stretch mark cream for £1.50.

Good idea to stock up. I didn't plan on using jars but my daughter wouldn't eat my food- it's not that bad honest. She's just started eating my food aswell as jars and shes 36 wks now.
I went into a boots when we were away in hull and got lots of 7 mnths jars (heinz, boots and c&g) for between 18p and 25p- usually around 80p each so saved a fortune. Happy hunting!

No. If you look on the shelf edge label, they are still a white label and it shows the price on them- for example today I picked up a heinz pork & apple jar, it said 80p reduced to 18p (the 18p is the biggest numbers on them though).
All the reduced things still have white labels but you have to spy the cheap ones :)
The jars I have picked up have mostly been 2011 onwards. Boots fruit pots (4pk) were 43p aswell today (check the dates as some were out of date already).
    Hope this helps!

Not much in the store near me but grabbed a great money saving bargain. i'm planning to use reuseable nappies and a friend has given me two sizes of mio's. i managed to top up the set today because my local boots were selling off the nappie trial sets at £2.50 each! These retail at £10 each. picked up the last three on the shelf saving over £20. Even if i dont end up using them i can always resell or pass on. couldn't resist such a bargain.
    Thanks for the thread!

Thanks to the op for this .
I havan't found much - no nappies or anything really useful like that but I got some organix snack bars 75% off.
They also had trial packs of re-useable (mia?) nappies 1/2 price - I was tempted as my son's 2nd is on the way and they used bum genius for the 1st.
I also got the boots expert toiletries but I'm glad I didn't buy many.
I tried the bodywash and found it to be naff.
I had to use more than twice as much as the johnson's softwash I usually use but still had virtually no perfume or lather.
Don't be tempted to clear the shelves!
Maybe it's good for the babies with extra sensitive skin but I don't like it at all!
  • Hi all, was in my local boots yesterday and noticed they had a baby moniter with camera reduced down to £35 (from £100+) but can't remember which make, also medela breast pump also considerably reduced. Sorry I cant be more specific but hope this helps someone.
