    In theory - yes

    What i didnt realise is that as long as i was in arrears with them they would continue to default me.

    My (wrong) impression was that if i kept up the correct monthly payments then on + some to pay a chunk of the arrears, it would show up positivly on the credit file.

    They never once told me differently!
