My wedding in in June next year. I am aiming at a £3000 budget, but realistically expect it to go up to £3,500, which isn't bad considering my parents and OH's parents are both giving us £500 towards the cost.

The most expensive aspect is the reception, which comes in at £1300 for 37 people and accommodation which is nearly £500 - but that's for a bridal suite for 2 nights plus a family room where my sister is going to look after our kids.

The ceremony s a stone's throw from the suite, so no need for cars. Ceremoney, £230, minister, £120, Piper, £60

Ebay is fantastic for wedding stuff! People automatically assume ebay only sells second hand stuff, but all the shops on there sell brand new items. I am getting my favours and boxes from there, as well as my veil (£15) and intend to get my dress made from a shop on there (approx £120)

I got wedding invites/thank you cards/cake boxes/serviettes and place cards, all personalised in cream and gold for £50 (sale online)

Luckily my dad is a photographer so really cut price there!

Also, only having 2 flower girls, so that will come in at around £150 for dresses and accessories for both.
