I wanna find someone

Not sure this is the right place so sorry if it's not...

I'm trying to track an old friend of behalf of my nan and am not having much luck.

I've tried facebook, twitter, linkedin etc...

The only 'leads' I've had were on Genes reunited and 192, which are both obviously paid services. I wouldn't mind paying but the info I can see is so vague, I think there's only a small chance I'd be successful.

Does anyone know of any sites I can get this info for free or any free trials etc. I can use to get a bit more info before I pay?

Thanks for any help :)

Firstly does your nan still live in the same area as she did when she had this friend? If so, why not contact the local paper who will be more than happy to come and see you and get the info put into the paper. Chances are if the friend doesn't see it someone else who knows her/him will do.
I used a local paper that way last year as a last ditch attempt at finding someone after 38 years, they came up trumps and even sent a photographer out to get a few pictures of the 'old friends' together.
Give it a go, you got nothing to lose and it's free. Good luck
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
