For clarification, the beans are usually priced at £3.00 for six tins in Asda, (not cheap, but not as bad as suggested above), and the Tuna is rollback to £4.73 from £5.38.

So 12 tins of beans for £4.00 @ 33p per tin or
8 tins of Tuna for £4.00 @ 50p per tin is very good.

Tesco/Sainsbury's usually charge £5.39 for the Tuna 4 packs, working out at £1.35 per tin; and whilst neither stock the 6 packs of beans, a 4 pack is £2.16, so 54p a can.

PS. Hellman's Mayo is 2 for £2.00 (usually £1.67 each) in Tesco; tuna mayo salads, jackets, baguettes etc anyone?) :rotfl:
    I'm a bit of a nutter :j
