Brilliant, been wanting these for a while. I have managed to reserve the last one in two different stores as my friend wants some too. Thank you.

Don't waste your money. I bought these at full price and they were as accurate as the £2.99 ones. I just wish i'd took them back and not binned them.

Surely this not in keeping with mse forums, throwing away something that has a 10 year guarantee, I've just bought some for the good lady and they give the same reading as she got from boots today that cost her 50p, they seem well made and certainly worth £11.99 especially with a 10 year guarantee.

Yes but who on earth keeps the receipt for ten years? I certainly don't.

Not very MSE I admit, but mine were that rubbish I couldn't be bothered. I got a different reading every time I went on them with a difference of about a stone, not just one or two pound.

I find the best way with long guarantees is to put the receipt in the box and put it up in the loft, it saves a lot of hassle of going through drawers of receipts and when I lost a couple of slates from the roof a few years ago a pair of loud speaker boxes soaked up all the water and saved the ceiling.

A word of caution - these are not the same as the scales used in a weight watcher class - so our class leader keeps telling us! They will be an indicator of your weight but are definatley not 100% accurate. A few friends who bought them previously thought they were rubbish....
