    Hi,
I see you have no replies so far. I'm not sure which coupons you mean?

If it's money-off manufacturers' coupons you have to use these instore, because Tesco scans the barcode and has to have the original coupon to send off and redeem.

Maybe you could do most of your shopping online but still carry your coupons with you for the odd Tesco trip when you run out of milk, want a newspaper, etc. I find small shopping transactions like this are the best use of money-off coupons, as even if your store will only accept one coupon you can hand over a biggie (like the £2.60 one from the Times) and get a huge percentage off your total. Just as long as you have a local Tesco who are OK about coupon-use (i.e. not a tiny Tesco Express, IME).

PS (edited) If you mean the Tesco Clubcard Extra Points coupons that have recently arrived with your voucher mailing, you have to buy these products to get the points. You can change your preferences on the Tesco website to say you want 'online vouchers' next time, which may be more useful to you now?

  • I think that the newest of the cash vouchers they are sending can be used either online or instore. There is a code on them to use online-no need to request this or register for it.

The latest vouchers for money off have an online code on them which you can put in. For the extra points and similar vouchers I believe (not 100% sure) you have to opt-in for eCoupons so you get them with online codes. By default when yu register you are opted-out so you'll need to change that. You can do this on the website as Coupon-mad says or you can call the .com helpline and they can do it for you.
