Overdraft

Can someone help please? I changed my bank account from Barclays to Abbey about a year and a half ago. I automatically had the same overdraft that I had with barclays which is £850:00. Unfortunately I went through a divorce which meant I was actually using my full overdraft every motnh to pay my finances. Therefore I currently owe an overdraft to Barclays and want to try and reduce my overdraft with Abbey. How can I do this??

The first thing we need to know is your income and expenditure, then see if there are any savings that can be made.

Can you post up a statement of affairs?

Also, do you pay a fee for the overdrafts?

Hi, I will post a statement of affairs shortly. To be honest I never really looked at the fee with Barclays and think at times try to bury my head - but I need to sort myself out as this is worrying me
