hiya as your music fans wonder if any of you know the cheapest place to buy an ipod touch and which model you'd recommend?

costco has some good deals at the moment if you are a member the 64GB version was around £250, £299 in other places but you can get it cheaper. from what I have heard the new version may be out in Sept might be worth waiting for it.

Apple always update the consumer hardware on the run-up to Xmas, but it might be as late as late October, so it depends how long you'll want to wait.

They come withthe same waranty, etc as a 100% new model, so you're covered. It's also £249, and you can get nectar points through Apple if you do that sort of thing. Free delivery as well.

The 32gb one was £197 in Asda the other week.

If you can wait till September, I'd wait. Apple update their iPod range every September so when the new ones are announced, the existing range falls in price, probably by about £40 or more depending on the new version's specs.

If you want your iPod touch to have a camera in it then I'd suggest waiting for the 4th gen.

After one myself, 8Gb is too small for my music collection and apps and the next one up from that is now the 32 Gb one. Don't fancy getting one off eBay again so I'm going to get my next one brand new.
