Cheap Gym Shorts (Must have pockets)

I'm trying to find dirt cheap shorts that I can wear to the gym. Having just finished University, I'm struggling to afford bread at the moment so any clothing purchases must be well thought out.
But basically, I only have one pair of shorts with pockets for the gym. All other shorts have no pockets and I need them for my mp3 player, notes, chalk and things like that. (I do more weights than cardio when at the gym).
So just wondered if anyone knew good places to solve these needs! I checked sportsdirect but nothing immediately hit me.
Cheers MSE's!!

My OH has to have pockets in his shorts for the exact same reason as you!:)
He tends to go to TK Maxx as they seem to have the largest range of sportswear for a reasonable price.
If you're not a label junkie, you could always try Tesco or Asda. They do quite good quality 'trackie bottom' shorts for a very reasonable price.
Happy hunting!:D0 -
Have you tried M&S? JD sports also have a sale on (if you can call it a sale...) and I'd also check M&M direct.0

I get all my gym gear from sportsshoes dot com.
Try the sale, they have a wide range and delivery was really quick. Also I'm sure they are on quidco.0 -
Karate, that site is all right if you want brand names but they're not exactly cheap. Prices start at £10 but those tend to come in daft sizes and the cheapest I could find with a pocket was £15. Here's the link anyway.

Looks like Sports Direct is your best bet. All the shorts on this page cost less than £6. It won't allow me to post a direct link to the page I was looking at so if you go to this link, choose small, medium or large and then sort by prices low to high from the drop down menu you'll see shorts ranging in price from 3 to £6. The Donney and Everlast shorts come with pockets as do some of the Slazengers.
