Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone could help. I have left my job as my paid maternity leave has finished and I will be staying at home to look after my son. I have not yet recieved my p45 but as I have left and earnt (my last payslip shows) £4564.15 and paid £588.80 tax, will I recieve any rebate?
Many thanks

If those figures represent 2010-11 and you don't expect to have extra income exceeding £1900'ish (gross interest etc) for the remainder of the year - then the whole £588 should be refundable idc.
You need to send the P45 (keep your copy) when received - and a P50 - to your HMRC office. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
