Dishwasher cleaning tablets?

A few months back I used to buy a pack of 8 sains dishwasher cleaner tablets for under £2.I now can only seem to buy the bottles of liquid cleaner which cost about the same for one use.does anyone know if you can get the tablet ones anywher else?

Asda appear to be the cheapest for the non cheapskate tablets.

These ones work out to 10p each.

I used to use these until i discovered the vinegar method. Fill a cup halfway with vinegar and put your machine on a normal cycle and hey presto one clean dishwasher. I use the value vinegar which is cheap as chips:)

unsure .. think OP is asking about the product that cleans the inside of the machine ... not the actual tablets for cleaning dishes ?

For dishwasher cleaner i use the Aldi product .. 2 bottles for £1.99

Bubbys' note on vinegar .. which i do use for all sorts of cleaning jobs ... just don't know whether vinegar does the necessary inside the workings on limescale etc .

The OP is talking about dishwasher cleaning products that clean the actual dishwasher not the tablets that clean the plates.
