thanks for the harper's bazaar tip off! just to add the mag costs £3.60 so you get if for £1 (or £1.60 if you wouldn't have got the times otherwise!)
  • Do you have to buy the mag with the voucher or will it just take £2.60 off my shopping bill?

Tesco seem happy to take £2.60 off my shopping bill, I bought 21 copies of the Times last week for this voucher! :D

Another poster has warned that it seems to scan for under 40p at Asda self-scan machines, so watch out!

Just grabbed myself a few copies of the Times, helped by a few 60p coupons for First mag. Asda had a promo on this a couple of weeks ago, and I managed to get a few ( ).
But, I just noticed myself, they are only valid for up to today ( 5th Sept) .
So check out any you have stuck at the back of your purse/wallet....I will just have to go and buy some more Times to use up my last couple of coupons:D

Just to say, it's a bit naughty but coupons will still scan after the expiry date (unless they are store-logo ones, e.g. Asda or Tesco magazine ones).

I don't normally do this, best to keep your coupons in the car or your pocket, in date order, and make sure you use them up (even if it means 2 or 3 small shops in one day). But IME they will still scan and the Supermarket has MONTHS to redeem them, so they still get their money back.

I don't like to think of MSEers binning good coupons the day after expiry when you may be able to use them for a few more days.....

Ok, after being totally confused by coupon-mad's post above I have searched the thread and learnt the wonder of Tesco accepting coupons for things you haven't bought... only wish I'd realised that yesterday because Harper's Bazaar was cr*p! :rotfl:
  • Don't worry JennyB - I was the same when I joined this site - these vouchers have a habit of being repeated so keep your eyes peeled for the next ones.
