Frustrated with CSA

  • Oh my god!!! Cant believe this but CSA has just rung OH.Child benefit stopped being paid on 6th September, as from this week they are stopping CSA payments. They will continue to conduct a review in case arreas are owed but the lady said there would be no point in taking further payments from OH as it is likely they would have to pay them back to him following review.I know it sounds silly, but I feel quite emotional about it.I wont really believe it until I see OH payslip though!! There is light at the end of the tunnel.x

    Good news Supersaverhal.

Regardless of CB being paid until 20, CSA is only until 19. Definitely. They've not changed it.

:wink:So when they stop giving CB to families on higher incomes does that mean that the CSA payments will stop too ??!!!

I did wonder how it was going to affect CSA. They'll have to actually find out properly rather than relying on CB.

They will be able to claim the 'notional' entitlement - saying that you WOULD be entitled to child benefit if you didn't earn so much, so that is enough to qualify the PWC to claim child support.
