what does the parlimentary ombudsman do?

Finally got my MP to contact the PO on my behalf after been through CSA complaints and ICE

What exactly do the PO do? Can the CSA just dismiss them like they seem to do with everthing else?

Hi Markeymark,

Failing getting no joy with the csa and exhausting complaints route, as you have stated, your MP can refer your case to the PO.

The PO investigates your complaint against the CSA, taking evidence from both parties, if they believe there is a indication of administrative fault/failure on the CSA part causing an injutice or hardship, they have the power to right that wrong so NO the CSA can not dismiss the PO.

oh well fingers crossed, the ICE found in my favour, so can't see the PO finding any different

well had a response from the PO, basically tells me to go back to ICE and for them to follow up, if i get no joy from them then i can go directly to PO again

going to draft an email to ICE this afternoon, fingers crossed
