Hi I am mother of the bride and a very plus size. I like the look of Florentyna Dawn outfits but no idea of cost. Do any of you mums/daughters know where they supply to or is there just a shop. We live in west yorkshire but don't want to travel if their costs are way beyond my means. Any figures ladies please?

Well I had a little look around and found an online shop but I can't find the really posh stuff on there. Dresses seem to be around the £300 mark, tops around £150 and jackets around £200.

Sorry about that. What is your budget and what size are you? We might be able to find something nice for you yet! Any particular colours? What did you like from the Floentyna range?

I would prefer around £150 if possible. I am size 28 and like the monochrome similar to this.. http://www.florentynadawn.co.uk/plus-size-fashion-dress/tulip-sleeve-godet-dress-white-black.htm with a contrasting short sleeved jacket over. I really like the cut/godet style and prefer the long length as I have a prob with fluid retention on one leg. Also due to religious reasons I would like sleeves, short sleeves are great.

Hi, those dresses are lovely. My first thought was that they are a lot like Roman Originals, do you have TJ Hughes near to you? They tend to sell Roman Originals at really good prices.
Alternatively, this site has some really nice outfits

Don't worry about admitting your size, every woman is beautiful, no matter what her shape or size! My Mum is plus sized and always looks lovely and I'm sure you'll look fabulous on your daughter's wedding day!

I really like this dress and it's under budget! Although it hasn't got sleeves, would you be happy with sleeveless if you wore a nice jacket or pretty cardigan over it?

Moving away from monochrome, This is nice (with this), I like this as well (a lot!) and this (almost has sleeves!) or.... this.

Or some ebay ones! One, two...

wow you have been busy, thank you. There are some there that I do like. I wonder would it be miserly to call the shop of the dresses I like and ask them if they have a sale on?
