Sanae Thai Spa is wonderful. I live in Manchester and have been twice before. I strongly recommend this place.

When I found this there were just over 14 hours to take up the offer.

  • I got the £17 livingsocial deal quite a few months ago, I only used the voucher a few weeks ago. There are very few reviews around for this place and their own website does not seem to be working today. I was pretty apprehensive because I couldn't imagine what Spa would be on Thomas St, and because I had never had a thai massage before...and because anyone I mentioned it to kept on mentioning happy endings...:o
Anyway, I went, it's not your usual, tranquil spa environment with orange women and other women lounging in white robes. In fact, on my arrival I was given a friendly greeting by two Thai women and the only people waiting were two older men . I'll be honest, this did not relax me at all. I was pretty on edge the whole time and actually considered leaving. The lady that did the massage was fine, it hurt quite a bit and I ended up with a couple of bruises, but apparently Thai massages are not supposed to be all about relaxation and a bit of pain is goood??? Anyway, there was no chance of me relaxing due to the pain and constant fear of what might be going on next door :eek:
