Limo hire by private individuals

Getting married in OCT and need a wedding car at MSE rates. The quotes have been astronomical! I know there are a few individuals who have access to a limo or other wedding cars at better rates than other companies. Problem is they obviously do not readily advertise. Anyone know of where I can find out? I saw just one advert on gumtree but wondering if there may be others. Based in London

A colleague of my mums has contacted a funeral director to hire their limo for the wedding rather than using a wedding car company. I think they have connections with the company but it may be worth a try? You could also try booking last minute, as long as you'e not height of the wedding season, or ask for prices then tell them you hadn't budgeted that much? good luck0

be careful of these type of companies tho - they might not be licensed to carry passengers, and they might not have the appropriate insurance either.
I know that our local council did a bit project last year around prom time and half the limos weren't supposed to be carrying passengers!!Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved!
