Amazon Vouchers

Here's a puzzler. Back in May, I pre-ordered a camera from Amazon and paid partly with vouchers. Due to the length of time before it was due in, I then cancelled, and ordered it via Pixmania.
What happens to the vouchers I didn't spend?

If you paid with vouchers, you will be refunded with vouchers, they will automaticly go back on to your account. Log in and go to the vouchers page and you should see them there. Any problems and just ring them up or email them- Amazon seem to have really good customer service (touch wood!!)0

Very similar happened to me with a router a few weeks ago. I typed in the voucher codes (£10 worth) and ordered. Cancelled order as router was delayed a couple of times, and I had deleted the emails with the codes so couldn't re-enter. Bought something yesterday and the £10 came off right at the end after delivery details etc.0

Slightly off topic, but has anyone else found that Amazon have been getting worse at delivering small electrical stuff lately? Twice in the last 12 months I've cancelled orders from there (once for a shaver, once for some hair straighteners) because they've told me 2-3 weeks after ordering that they cant get hold of the item, delays with suppiers etc. Normal stuff - books, music, dvd deliveries are still all ok.
Methinks they are stretching themselves too far and haven't sorted out their supply chain yet.

Maybe, or maybe a fair amount of retailers are having their own cash related issues resulting in reduced staff and lack of organisation. Or could be they are getting more orders now as other firms are going under or high street prices are getting a bit OTT in comparison, could be anything. Not noticed anything myself though.0
