Eyelash perm - is it worth it?

I am going to a special lunch and trying to look my best :) My eyelashes arent that luxurient but I dont fancy having extra false ones added as Id be worried my own come off with them (I mean those single ones actually attached to your own) so I wondered if perming them would give them a boost?

I had mine permed and tinted (blue/black) a few years ago and they did look lovely for about a week then the curl dropped in some of the lashes only which looked a bit strange and I noticed I lost considereably more eyelashes than normal, might be good for a special occasion but I wouldnt really recomend it for much more than that:)

i have mine done usually before i go on holiday and i would recommend it. ihave very sparse, fair lashes so get them permed and tinted

i find they last a good couple months even takin into account i swim 3 times a week so would thoroughly recommend it

glowgirl sorry yours didnt do well but mine have always lasted much longer than a week

Don't know about a perm but I did have my eyelashes tinted as they are quite sparse and it made a big difference, certainly worth £8 I thought.

I've had mine permed a few times now this time people really noticed the difference, mine usually lasts a few weeks. Just wish the tint would last longer

I've had it done a few times but my regular beauty therapist said she's stopped doing it because she's found it's had such a negative impact on lash density. I'd tread carefully - I think it's like most things; in moderation it's fine but if you love the look, try not to get hooked on it! Tinting is a great may to boost your lashes.
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
