Any dentists reading this - help required

a bit of an SOS.

I have a hospital date for first week of September to remove a wisodm tooth that has lost a corner.
yesterday i chewed gum and more of the tooth come away

tonight i am in absolute agony. waves of pain etc travelling in the jaw and ear area

what can i do? i canot go on like this until september.

For tonight Ibuprofen or codeine/ibuprofen and clove oil.

Paracetamol and aspirin do not work as well.

call your dentist and ask for an emergency appointment. They may be able to place an interim dressing if suitable.

thnaks guys, i called the hospital dept this am and they have a cancellation for tomorrow. pain has died down a bit today so here is hoping

Good luck, had mine out last year, fantastic experience tbh (GA) and no more tooth pain!
