Yep, don't touch them, I'm currently wrestling with them to stop them from calling me 3 times a day and actually delete my details despite the fact that I have never had anything to do with them! Currently drafting out a letter to trading standards...0

MDGM - hope you're well. Did you get anywhere when asking them to cease contact? I'm also receiving calls, all unwanted, i've written twice followed both up with phone calls - all to no avail?0

I've had Tristan at FreshStart bombard me with calls every freakin week, and now he's passed my number to the rest of his loan shark team! All the numbers begin 0161 429 **** if you should ever get a call from these retards.... I asked him to remove my details from their database, but I think I'll just cut them off, or I'll be forced to change my mobile number. The phoneowner.info site made interesting reading : one poster wrote "Just spoke to someone called Darren at Fresh Start Financial managment Ltd. I explained the situation to him and politely asked them to stop calling. He apologised and said they were having a problem with their DIALER!!!
I am very depressed and need to see if my doctor can diagnose me as being depressed and unable to work because of all the stress all these calls are causing me. They are giving me nightmares at night and affecting my concentration at work. My lawyer will then be asked to write them a letter seeking compensation for all the emotional trauma they have caused. I have saved a copy of the chat I had with Darren from Fresh Start Financial Management Ltd. so that is my proof that they admit making the calls."

I have just called them back after 12 drop calls from them which I thought was my accountant in Manchester. I have requested a block on their calls - lets see.0

I was also getting 3-5 calls a day from these folk, extremely irritating. They were actually my reason for signing up to post on MSE rather than lurking as I was in two minds whether or not they were genuine!
OP, I'd agree with everyone else and not touch them with a bargepole. I think the only reason they don't bother with me any more - and I've only sent one letter - is because I'd allowed them to go through the rigmarole of setting me up with everything, which must've taken quite a bit of their time, THEN cancelled within 3 days by recorded delivery letter (I'd come on here for advice and been told best to steer well clear). The guy called me to confirm the contents of my cancellation letter and he was a bit miffed to say the least
Anyone who wants to charge you £300 up-front to help you solve your debt problems, is probably not worth bothering with. There's a lot of good advice here about other reputable companies, hope you get it all sorted
