Went to my local today and bought two Airwick sprays and a refill for another Airwick spray . Tried to use my vouchers and was told to go to CS as they would not scan. Nice SA had to input code and it went through. Unfortunately one of the Dragon SA's came along and she asked her and she said if it did not scan then it was up to me to contact Airwick but as it gone through then ok for this time. I think another quick e-mail to Sir Terry to get the proper voucher policy. I wrote to him 3 weeks ago about the Finest Meal Deal not having a non alcoholic drink choice and he wrote back after a few days saying they would be offering that soon. Apparently in Scotland or Ireland you can have a multipack of 1.5litre coke or Orange Juice.
  • I don't understand why this isn't hotter, great find!!! Very happy. Especially with the Sainsburys glitch. I went through self-checkout, didn't accept vouchers, but assistant put them through as £2.99 discount each :D Very happy, £8 of shopping for £2.02 :) thankyou!!!!!!!!

Further to to my previous post I called into a nearby Tesco and asked at the desk about Tesco Coupon policy. The nice young man said Tesco take any coupons if you buy the product and the coupon either scans or they can input the barcode manually. He also confrmed they take Asda, Sainsbury Morrisons, Waitrose and Lidl spend specific coupons but not Aldi. I wrote an e-mail to Sir Terry about coupons yesterday and shall post the reply on here when I get it.
The cs guy also told me that Tesco coupon policies are the same in all stores

Excellent - gonna use these on my way home from work this morning. Here is a link for all the products in the "3 for 2" deal at Tesco.

I guess you just have to make sure the 3rd item is £3.00 or less.

I got mine this morning - got some Viakal for the bathroom and have to say it is superb (used it already!). Was worth getting the air fresheners just for that! Used the self service checkout, you have to put the coupons in the slot after you scan them (you scan them after you select "Finish and Pay", not when you scan the items). I couldn't get away quick enough - felt like I'd robbed them! They get enough of my money every week though, so it's nice to get something "extra" back.

    :wave:Hi everyone,
Just hoping someone can help me.
I printed this coupon on Monday and was intending to try it at the self service tills this morning and I was reading my coupon and although it has 'Manufacturers Coupon Valid until 10-8-2010 Personalised Coupon' across the top in black I have noticed that in the small writing for the Consumer at the bottom it has 'The coupon is valid until July 8th 2010' which of course was yesterday so does that therefore mean it won't scan or I can't use it today after all?
I don't want to embarass myself at the tills today if it doesn't work or be guilty of giving tesco's an out of date coupon?!!
    Many thanks in advance....

Further to my previous post and the difficulty I had using the voucher here is an extract from the e-mail I received from Tesco's yesterday

To clarify our policy on coupons I would like to confirm that we are happy to
accept product specific coupons, provided that the product in question has been
purchased, and this applies to both Tesco and branded manufacturers coupons. If
the product is out of stock or is not stocked in our store then we are unable to
accept the coupon. Furthermore, if the coupon has been photocopied or is not a
genuine manufacturer’s coupon then it will also be rejected.

With regard to competitor conditional spend coupons, I can confirm that we have
recently taken the decision to no longer accept Farmfoods coupons. Please be
assured that we did not take this decision lightly and this was only reached
    after careful consideration.

However, we do still accept we still accept conditional spend coupons from the
    following competitors:

    ASDA
    Morrisons
    Sainsburys
    Co-op
    Marks & Spencer
    Waitrose
    Aldi

Provided that any minimum spend requirements have been met, coupons from the
above competitors will be accepted. For example, if a customer wishes to redeem
two competitor coupons for £3.00 off a £30.00 spend then they would need to
spend a minimum of £60.00 to be able to use them.

They are writing a letter confirming this which I will keep in my bag for the future. I will post a copy of this on the coupons board for reference aswell.
