Local grown/organic veg boxes or farm shops in Edinburgh

I'm looking for recommendations on suppliers of local/organic veg boxes in the Edinburgh area. My address would probably be city centre or leith area.
The veg box idea appeals to me but I'm wondering if anywhere in Edinburgh sells good quality produce that I could buy from. I'm going to pop into the Gorgie Farm shop to see what kind of range they have but would welcome any suggestions for other farm shops.
On the subject of the veg boxes, has anyone tried these and what is the variety like? Is it better to custom order or just let the supplier put the order together for you? Also, what size are the boxes? It's for me and my OH, roughly how much stuff is in the boxes?
I'm on a budget so would rather keep costs to a minimum, hence looking for farm shops or local grown produce that may be cheaper than the veg box delivery.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Fox, my nephew lives in Edinburgh (north) and has these people deliver.

East Coast is good and I can also recommend Phantassie:

The small boxes (Phantassie is £10/£11 a week) should be fine for 2 people - I think East Coast is a similar price. I used to use East Coast but swapped to Phantassie as they had a bit more variety and they do a no potatoes box. They are both at the Edinburgh farmers market on Saturdays - East Coast often do buy one get one free and were even giving away salad stuff free one Saturday as they had a surplus!
Here is a picture of one of my East Coast boxes (old one from 4 years ago (!) but will give you an idea of what you get):

Otherwise in town have you tried Tattie Shaws at the top of Leith Walk - they are brilliant and cheaper than the supermarkets. Also for herbs try corner shops, my local one does a huge bunch of parsley or coriander for £1 whereas the supermarket gives you a small plastic packet for almost the same price!"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."
