Where to buy hessian from?

I'm giving some thought into making a 'rag rug' in preparation for the winter.
I've read you use hessian to weave the material rags through. Could anyone point me in the direction of a reputable and cheap place to buy hessian from?
Much appreciated

Most garden centres will sell it, it will be with the meshing to protect from birds, fleece for cold protection etc. You could also try your local chippie, greengrocer as they may still have spuds delivered in hessian bags, unlikely these days and you'd have to clean, I'd go for the garden centre!0

There are several places on ebay that sell it - depends how much you want how cheap it works out, and remembering to take p&p into account0

Most spuds are in paper sacks now. Try your Chinese takeaway for hessian rice sacks.0 -
Or pet shops. Our local one gets nuts in them (to make bird feed) and sells the empty sacks at 25p each - the money goes to charity.
