Bad credit rating loans... there are quite a few!

Hiya,
Does anyone know which loan companies are best for people with a bad credit rating? i.e those which are most likely to accept you for a loan regardless of the APR?
My ex bfriend has agreed to get a loan to pay me back the money he stole from me a while ago ( ) and he'll need about 6k in total, however any amount will help me out right now whether its £600 or £6000!
There are loads of companies online but which are best? I dont want him to waste his time applying for some, not getting anywhere and that then damages his chance of getting a loan elsewhere (i.e. marks on your credit rating everytime you apply!)
Theres no way he'll get a loan with a decent APR as his credit rating is so poor. Oh and it'll need to be an unsecured loan as well.
Any ideas?!?!
Anna xx

Anna, you (he?) needs to avoid the loan "brokers". These clowns charge you a fee to find a loan which you can do yourself. Check any company you intend to use very carefully on here and the Internet so you don't get scammed.
The one possible way he could get some money quickly is a so called "payday loan" but this will leave him in mountains of debt until the day he dies. Just type it into Google, there are no shortage of these sharks around.
Anyway, hope you get it sorted :-)

Glad u said that actually as I've been looking at 'brokers' but didnt really know what they were... thanks! I'll try and steer clear of them then.
Was guna try the few Ive seen on the tv, like these debt consolidation companies... altho i think they need you to secure your house, which he doesnt have! Grrr... oh well, thanx again : )0 -
You could also post on the loans board.
Avoid any that ask for an up front fee. With bad credit you may be limited to someone like Provident.0
