Hi!
I went on my credit report last week to make a note of who I owe to and how much but it's totally blank. It really shouldn't be as I owe to about 6 different companies.
I last checked it it early May and there were entries on it.
Any help would be fab!

The same has happened to me. I have 6 creditors but only 3 were listed. Then I tried another Credit Report Conpany (call credit) and two more creditors apeared on their report.
The Creditors that had not turned up were ones that had been passed to Debt Collection Companys, I am not sure if this was just coincidence or the real reason the debt details were not shown.
The only other things I could sugest you trying is trying other Credit Report Companys (e.g. Call Credit, Anual Credit Report etc) or maybe your home address is not up-to-date on your personal details?0 -
Have you moved house since May?
Are you on the electoral roll?
Did you check the same agency as you did in May (I presume you did but just checking?)
Unlikely but, were all your debts about 6years old and 6years since you paid anything? (in which case they may have dropped off your credit report).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
The debts had been there for some time. Very possibly 6 years. I'll sign up for the other reports and see what's on them. Just seemed a tad strange that all of them dropped off.
How does the 6 year thing work?I belive in the three R's. Reading, Writing, Roller Derby!0 -
Most things stay on your credit report for 6years.
So if you default on a debt the default gets registered at a cetain date. Then 6years after that the debt would drop off your credit report whether or not you had paid the money off.
Or if you settled a debt and closed an account 6years ago then the settled account would stop showing after 6yeras.
But if you have an active account you were still using regularly that you just happened to open 6years ago then that should still be showing.
It does seem odd for them all to have gone at once unless you had moved house recently or changed your name or similar.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
