M&S Toiletries

My friend has started buying M&S basic products and says they are good. They have shampoos and conditioners for £1.00 each and face washes for about £2.00. They also have face creams for £3.00 but I'm still going to stick to the Body Shop one with the aloe vera in but I might try the shampoos etc. Has anyone tried these before?

I used to like M&S make up but since I moved its too difficult to buy, the make up and the creams used to be made by the same manufacturers that make Clarins products, not sure if the basic range is included in this or even if they still are but I've only ever heard good comments:)
