    :p

Anyway, sold out at mine or well-hidden.
Always the same - I read of cheap stuff on here and it's never at my local supermarket - whether its 2GB memory cards for 50p at Tesco Extra or whatever it is.
I could post a thread saying sale price electricals and half price laser & inkjet printer photo card and the like at Sainsburys but probably not at every branch and people will get irritated that it's sold out or not available at theirs.
Also Asda advertised some beverages at half price, when I was at Asda last week (3 branches) none had them, one told me they were awaiting the pallet as they sold out. Never seen them. And only once saw the special cheap fruit deal at Asda, they've quietly faded away. Looking at my till receipts for food prices from 2006 to now, I see marked rises. Some of the Basics tinned fruit (except the pineapple) and biscuits I buy have gone up a third and the cakes seem to me to be smaller and often for even more money. The Bankrupt of England's quantitative easing, the weak £ or just plain greedy profit margins have forced food prices up, they can deny it all they like. Okay, rant over, I will chill now, I get irritable without chocolate...

I think I should be on commission. I got 9 packs at my store (for my OH - he takes them for snacks in the van, I would not buy so many if I like them!) and having seen them for that price the people behind me got an assistant to get some for them!
