Can anyone help?
I want to buy a 3 ft "trundle" bed (basically a mattres on wheels or legs) but without the bed it fits under.
It's so my little grandson can stay over and as I havn't got much room, I thought I could prop it up when not in use.
All the ones Iv'e seen are single beds that when trundle is pulled out are converted to a double or 2 beds.
Has anyone seen just the underneath trundle for sale and not the full divan?

What about a folding camp bed. Kids love that sort of thing. This one's half price at Asda.

Or an air bed. This one's half price at Tesco. You'd probably need an electric pump though.

I was going to suggest the same.
Or just a mattress that you could just lay on the floor.
With a trundle bed you would need quite a lot of space under your bed to store it. The mattress doesn't actually have wheels, they are attached to a trundle base that the mattress sits on.0 -
I think the air beds will make you sweat and the fold up beds have a pathetically thin mattress and quite expensive too.
I saw a metal framed, full single sized bed with fold up legs (at www.very.co.uk)
I think I will go with that and buy a nice mattress to go with.
Thanks for the input all!0 -

They are easy to get hold of, but if you are keeping it under another bed, then you will need quite a bit of space.0
