Lypsyl/Chapstick - Cheapest place?

Hi,

Anyone know where the cheapest place to get Lypsyl or Chapstick? Think I currently pay 99p per stick but there must be cheaper deals out there!

I just use regular vaseline, about £1.50 for a large carton in Wilkinsons and lasts years (And I use it on my lips at least 2-3 times a day). For my hand bag I have one of the small round tins of vaesline, again 99p but much more in it than a chapstick & you can refil it from the big vaseline carton.

    HTH

Yeah – I get the small tins which fit neatly in your pocket – I think they're about 75 or 85p in Wilkinsons and they last ages.

I used to throw a small fortune away on chapsticks – I’m sure they’re designed in some way that makes you have to continuously use them – I find the Vaseline works better and last longer between applications
  • Went to Wilko's the otherday and notices at the checkout they had lipsol mutlipacks.

I think it was 1.69 for a pack of three. (2 original and 1 strawberry)

    Hope this helps

    Hello,

Poundland have a twin pack of Lipmate (blue), but in Wilkinsons they have the same twin pack for 79p !!!!

I use it all the time, and is a lot better than others I have used. Bit greasy at first, but you dont need to put it on as often, so it seems to work better.

I've been using them for years now - I think what it is with them is, Your lips become dependant on them and stop making their own moisture as they are getting it artificially.
I'd love to stop using them but my lips seem constantly dry.
Anyone else any theories as to why you become dependant/addicted to them - lol
By the way Lypsyl's my brand - ha ha

I've got excatly the same problem if I don;t use my lips really go mad. Lypsyl Nivea are the best as the wax or whatever it is is thicker. Vasiline and the like are just to watery and my lips are never satified + its nice to have an alternative flavour now and again.

I remeber going into Sainsburys one day and they had incorrectly prlaced the single pack items @ £1 with the Triple packs. Got about 14 packs for £1 each bargain!
