hip package problem

hi all i require advice on a hip pack situation. i had my house up for sale last year and had bairstow eves do the hip pack and referred the payment until the house was sold. but i then took off the house for sale because they kept asking me to reduce the price. so i am now paying off the hip pack at £40 a month and will not get my hip pack un til it is paid in full. problem is now we no longer need a hip pack because the goverment has scrapped the hips. should i stop paying it ? sould i try and reclaim the monies i have already paid? and even if i pay off all the hip pack will bairstow eves even be able to give me my hip pack thanks for any advice that you may be able to give

Hi - is this a duplicate post?
You still need to pay for it. You were required to have one at the time you were selling your house. You will have a HIP pack once it's paid but the only part of it that may be any use will be the energy certification.
  • you will still need to pay for it because you have already had the service and it is a debt so to speak, so although they are obsolete, when you had the service they were not, so this is very frustrating, paying for something that is useless to you. They will just chase you through debt recovery agencies most probably if you don't.
