Cancelling direct debits

Hi has anyone ever cancelled a direct debit as money not there? I have just done this is was for the sake of four days!!

We did this before but now I would contact the company a couple of weeks before the DD went out and explain the situation, that way they still see the DD intact but you are just having a blip.Debts as of June 2012 - £68,986.35Now £27,470.20 :T57% of debts cleared:beer:0
