Unsecured Debts
Are the amounts you are paying the minimum amounts or your budgeted amounts. Take a quick look at the last statements and confirm the rates. Monthly or annual, we will be able to work it out for you. Its looks to me like you might be able to prioritise payments. Also can you bal transfer between cards to clear off the most expensive.
To summarise, please confirm current balance, min payment, interest (monthly or annual) and available credit. Can you also confirm if the Bank of Scotland debt is a credit card or a loan. My understanding is that all the others are card debts.0 -
I don't want to sound cruel here but I can not imagine how the OP will clear those debts.
Call me negative but that is just my opinion.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Opinions are good, but there is potential here. There are savings available, and time is on his side as long as hey continue to pay their bills. (In this I mean don't just give up).
Electricity and Gas - Submit meter reading each month and pay the actual not what they suggest. Utility companies are very good at getting customers to build up surpluses.
Telephone - Do they need both. Suspect for access to the internet. Maybe pay as you go mobile a possibility if out of contract.
Clothing £100 per month correction. Sorry no clculator does that mean you are £90 a month better off now you have budgeted for £10.
Food - £200 - I fed a family of four on £30 a week, using the basics. Potential to save £100 a month if there are just two of you.
Sky - Can it be binned if outside of contract.
and so on, and so on. You can sort this. Don't let it get the better of you.0 -
Thanks so far for all your help. I am two months behind on Bank of scotland, Next, Littlewoods and Flybe - all the others are up to date. No available credit on any cards.Natwest loan is also up to date.
All the other amounts I put in are min payments.Sky will be going - just called up to cancel.
otherhalf is trying to get another partime job.0 -
