I have seen a bridesmaids dress i like in Asda for £24! Trouble is its the wrong colour.... its a pale creams and I would like pastels either blue pink or green.
Does anyone know if I can dye polyester?
Or anyone seen any dresses in those colours for not much money?

Polyester ranges from georgette to satin but
I suspected it would be difficult and this confirmed it.

there's a shop called m butterfly (sorry can't post links, but if you search it on google it comes up) which sells dresses like that for about the same price. might be worth a look? xx0

This one's only £9.99 but might be too deep a pink?:

If you still have time I bet you could get something made for a reasonable cost. My local dressmaker charges around £20 for a dress and you could get fabric from the market etc. Alternatively, many brides use dressmakers in China etc from Ebay. Good luck and do let us know what you decide on.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

Although the information on that site does say that polyester which cannot be machine washed is the most difficult and the information on the dress says it is machine washable. If this is exactly what you are looking for and you can afford the risk of it not working I would buy one and try it.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

me yet again! I've just noticed that on the website it says the colour is yellow, whereas the photo looks cream. Have you seen one in real life?“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

This one is gorgeous too, but a quite a bit above budget - have put it up in case anyway. I considered it for my bridesmaid but she didn't like it. It is 100% silk, which is why it costs more, but you never know, it may go in the sale.
This one is also one of the limited edition Asda dresses in peach, and is only £24. I love the beading detail on the straps.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
