6 Eggs for 59p at Heron Foods

I called into my local Herons for the firs time yesterday, and left with a basket full of bargains,whch included the following:-

6 Eggs for 59p or 10 for £1.19
6 French style half baked rolls for 49p
6 Cornetto style strawberry and vanilla £1.09

Will defintely be shoping there again.

    They mean it would be cheaper to buy 2 half dozen and you'd get 2 more.

    12 (59x2) = £1.18
    10 = £1.19

    Yes but if you buy 2 packs of 6 you will pay £1.18 and have 12 eggs.

    They get away with it because some people just don't think.

    They are two separate brands entirely, that are different in size.

    It's a pity you didn't think to mention that in your original post, or explain exactly what the difference is once you realised people were confused.

    Are the eggs in one pack twice as good, or twice as big, as the ones in the other pack?

    I agree, it's actually very good bacon, compared to the sort of stuff you'll get for that price in a supermarket!
