A lot of ours are staying. I've got to say though I'm not looking forward to the morning after the night before I'm hoping I'll need a big pair of sunglasses! :rotfl:

I think quite a few are staying but there are a few people (like my closest friends who live 5 minutes up the road) who arn't staying for obvious reasons but would be lovely if they could :)

Plus we have plans for the next day which most are coming to, so would be nice to continue :) (we've booked to go corporate at our local football club with all our mates)

OH! Would ADORE a photobooth, but just cannot afford one :(

A hairdresser. Or a vintage wedding car.

A hot air balloon to take me & OH for a little trip above/around a gorgeous venue - then trips for many of our guests who'd like to enjoy the views too - that would be soooo cool! :D

Were only planning a small wedding and only just starting our plans soI'm not sure yet on any realistic things.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Robert Plant & Jimmy Page to sing & play for our first dance, more expensive wines with the wedding breakfast (and more of them!) and vintage champagne for the toasts

I think I'd like an unlimited access to champagne - never going to happen ;)
Bride to Be - 2011 and Weight Watcher - 4 stone down!

  • mine would be a stately home for the venue - realistically, we can only afford a "nice" hotel

or maybe the grand package starting at £155 per head, includes your own butler for the day:eek:

one of my fav bands to do a set, someone like The Bees or I Am Kloot.
And a free bar for all my guests

Exactly this! I Am Kloot at our wedding would be the ultimate for us, but we would probably be the only ones there that knew who they were!

Thats not as bad as the quotes i have had!! I have been quoted by most firework people round here approx. £600-750 for a show lasting 5 minutes!! £500 still pricey though! :(
    Thats cheap for fireworks!
A few places we spoke to wanted £3k for a 10 min display (5th Nov wedding). The cheapest we could find was £600 for a 5 min display. We;ve ended up paying £1k for a 6 min display but they are a good company and we like their work

I stopped looking after I saw that quote! We get married at the end of November, I might work out which fireworks do what and just get someone to set some off :D

With corkage our wine and champagne (well, cava) will be similar prices so I'm tempted to do this as OH tells me I'm a nuisance on wine :rotfl:

I am going to cheat on your excellent fun thread and say £100,000.00 :D

Then I can have the horse drawn carriage, 2 dresses, fire works, caracaturists, magicians, photo booths, free bar etc.

Not that I'll ever be able to afford it and if we did have that kind of money then we'd be buying a house, not paying for the wedding. *sigh*

Have you tried The Three Waiters? I got a quote from them that was over £1,000 less than the quote you got. I think that they look absolutely brilliant
