try looking on line for a florist local to her,not interflora.i did this with an aunt when i didnt realise it was a 'decade' birthday. rang a florist by her at 4.00pm,the bouquet was delivered at 5.00pm.some independant florists open on a sunday.or have you looked on asda shopping? they deliver food on a sunday, maybe they deliver flowers aswell.minimum delivery amount is £25 though.you have til 10.00pm day before to alter grocery shopping, dont know about flowers.dont quote me,not sure, just a suggestion

Weekend birthdays are always a challenge, go for a Monday delivery OR has she got a significant other who can be trusted to pop and get a bouquet and deliver them in your name?

Thank you for all the replies. Much appreciated. I had not thought about ringing local independant florists close to my friend. I shall be on the phone first thing! :)
