Hi,

I was bridesmaid dress shopping on thursday and by chance the woman who worked in the shop said she is getting married soon she showed me some boquets she had made herself they were like flowers but made with crystals and diamante's instead and pieces of silver wire all tied with ivory ribbon in the same way you would with flowers.

Hope that makes sense anyway, haven't seen anything like it before and would love that instead of flowers for me and my maids and as my wedding is so late in the year I think they would be more fitting for us.

I did ask the woman if she would consider making some for me and she said she would have a look at it when she gets back from honeymoon in 3 weeks time but she couldn't give me a price yet so I wanted to source something myself as an idea of what I'm looking at moneywise.

Anyone seen anything remotely like I've described ?

Nah its none of those this one above is similar but the flowers were smaller and made from diamante's in the shape of flowers there were no real flowers in it and it wasn't very big

smallish teardrop sort of size its proving to be impossible well so far anyway lol

I'm going to a warehouse tomorrow to see about getting all the bits and bobs and have a bash at making one myself! Also want to do wands for the flowergirls so I will be busy busy! Don't know how they will turn out but I might aswell try!!!

Sorry about the size! They're called french beaded flowers, if you google you'll find tutorials on how to make them. And you can make them with crystal beads instead of this type. I went through a phase of wanting a french beaded bouquet, made a couple of flowers and then decided the bouquet would end up far too heavy so didn't bother.
