missed secured loan payment
help - dont know what to do moneys been tight last few months resulting in bank fees as been using our reserved and have had to pay some nursery fees and get a proper food shop so bank didnt pay secured loan payment and paid other bills - now they payment has been missed and havent got the cash to pay it- dont know what to do - can raise a bit of cash but that would mean going into 2 reserves again and having to £22 per 5 days and dont get paid until next month so would end up paying charges and in the same situation again. Im discharged bankrupt so cant get any credit and hubbys always late payments on his card and were linked - dont want to use a door step lender as they have massive interest rates - any suggestions please.

I would say that you are also best to post on the debt free wanabee section of the forums. Whilst your post is about a loan, your need to address the wider picture.
On the debt free wanabee board, people can come up with some practical advice on who to contact and how you might possibly cut your spending and also give advice on any benefits you might be entitled too.

so bank didnt pay secured loan payment and paid other bills -
Might have been better to pay secured loan and not pay other bills!
I agree the dfw board is better. They'll ask you to do a statement of affairs using this calculator - remember to 'format for mse'
See you over there!0 -

If you are only one payment behind then talk to the lender, they should allow you to pay extra over a short period to make up for the missing payment0
