I use Olay Double Action Day cream about £5 in Spring and Summer and then Body Shop vitamin E day cream about £9 in the winter. I find that my skin needs a bit more moisturising in the winter months. I recently had a tester pot from Body Shop of their Wise Woman day cream which was lush but cost £18 for a pot.

I have terrible exzema and the one I like best on my face is Asda's vitamin E cream, about 98p I think. the superdrug one is OK too, didn't like the boots version - too greasy

I noticed you said nothing that leaves your skin greasy.

Anything in a jar is heavier than in a bottle, so steer clear of jar creams & go for a lotion in a bottle.

Oil of Olay has a good reputation & they do cheap ones.

At the end of last winter my skin was very, very dry. After effects of central heating and biting winds I suppose. I tried all sorts of creams and the only one to really improve it was Body Shop Vit E intense moisturiser. Not particularly cheap at £10 a tub but I won't buy anything else now, my skin is just so much better for using it.

Don't bother looking anywhere else now- I'm also in a similar age range to Op too,but people are shocked I have a 19 yr old.
It's noy a miracle worker but it does definitely work for me.
